Camila Rose is 3 months old!!!

Otherwise known as P. Kickie (short for Princess Kickie), because she really loves to kick!

3 Things I am Thankful 4 Today (#3)

1.  I am grateful for Camila Rose's health.  She has grown so well in the past 3 months.   She's eating well, pooping well, gaining well and overall a very happy, easy going gal.   Notice how much she has changed from the first photo to the second above. She's a lot of fun to have apart of our family.

2. I am always thankful for the love and support of my Mom and Step-Dad and their willingness to jump into our wild adventure of parenting.  I appreciate their ability to respect our "family time" and then lending a helping hand when we need it.  You guys are the best!!

3. The Rain.  Monsoon season has arrived and if I stop just for a second and breath I realize how much I love living in the desert.

3 Things I am Thankful 4 Today (#2)

1. I am grateful for my amazingly supportive husband.  

Andre' is a fantastic father and the best life partner I could 

have chosen.  I am reminded of this constantly throughout 

the intensive days and nights of raising our kids together.

2.  I am thankful for my HBAC (Homebirth after Cesarean Section).

My labor was very long (30 hours) and challenging and then 

I did it!!!!  I often think back on this major accomplishment and 

gather strength for all of the challenges I am faced with on a daily 

basis raising two children with special needs.  Having an HBAC 

made me feel like I can do anything!!  This experience really, truly

 gave me a sense of power as a mother.

3.  I am sooooo thankful for my milk supply!!!!!  OMG, this makes

my life as an "exclusively pumping" mom much less stressful 

than it could be (believe me I know).  I am grateful everyday to 

have enough milk to feed both of my children (and then some).

...so this felt great!!!!!

3 Things I am Thankful 4 Today (#1)

1. Sillyness with my sister and kids. Hootin' it up in the front room.
2. Camila's smile and love of being in the social scene. I am thankful to see the differences in my kids already.
3. Moments of quiet when both of my kids are peacefully sleeping at the same time. (Especially if I'm asleep too!!!)
