Home Sweet Home

Soliz is home now. We left the hospital on Tuesday morning. Keeping track of the days now is nearly impossible. It is hard to believe it's been a week and a half since the surgery. Our days are getting back to normal more and more with each day. Soliz is able to be calm and enjoy walks and play with his iPad. He has been able to swing and play with Camila. He tires more than usual throughout the day, but this is to be expected. I am still coming down off the trauma of witnessing him in so much pain and not knowing how to help him. There are still moments when the anxiety overtakes me. It is hard for me to trust that all is well. But he is getting better and better with each day and I know that being home will hurry his healing along even quicker. We are all tender now, as if seeing our sweet, joyful Soliz in this state has broken us all down a bit. I know that with time this too will make us stronger.

Some really interesting shots, I think I needs prints of some of these! So glad Soliz is able to have a little fun with sis and the family! Deep Breaths......

Blessings that you are home! I'm still praying for your family, and I will just add emotional peace to that list (that grows smaller each day you grow stronger.) Love from Alexander and Kristen (and the rest of us)
